How to restart the hardware layer
In some trouble shooting scenarios it is necessary to restart the Mandalay hardware layer. This process will re-initialise any connections to equipment and may resolved technical problem with the system.
Hardware Menu
Locate the Hardware menu. It will be locations in Start -> All Programs -> Mandalay Technologies -> Hardware
Stop the HW Service
Select the Stop HW Service menu item.
Note: This will display a black command window that will disappear once the service has stopped.
Start the HW Service
Select the Start HW Service menu item.
Note: This will display a black command window that will disappear once the service has stopped.
Restart Ticketing
If Ticketing is running then it should be restarted once the Start Service action has completed.
