How to create a custom security group
By default Mandalay has default security groups created. See the following article What are the default system security groups on the default security groups. In some cases it may be necessary to create a new security group.
Follow these steps to create a new security group and add members to it.
Add new group
- Start administration and go to the Users tab.
- Click on the Add Group button to create a new group
Group Name
- Enter the name of the group
- Set the group name as the Full Name
Select the Permissions
Select all the permissions required for this security group.
Save the changes
Click on the Apply button.
Add users to group
Click on the edit members button and add all the users that need to be members.
Note: You can easily assign users by double click the user in the list.
Save the changes
Click on the Apply button.
