How to export the hardware configuration to another computer
When replacing existing equipment on site it will be necessary to copy the configuration from one computer to another. This article explains how to do this.
Export from the original computer
On the original computer start Mandalay Device Manager and select the menu File -> Export Config. Copy the file to the other computer.
Import to the other computer
Start the mandalay device manager and select File -> Import Config... And select the file copied from the computer the configuration was taken from.
Tip: It is possible to connect to the hardware service on another computer from device manager. Just select the Action menu and connect to serer where you can enter the name of the computer you want to connect to. You can then import the configuration to that computer.
