How to add new filter column to a system report
Mandalay WBR is deployed with a number of system reports as standard. These reports can not be edited directly, however it is possible to make a copy of the report and then add additional or remove columns from the report. This article will explain how to add a column to an existing system report for use as a filter. In this case a DateOut column will be added to the Client Product Delivery Rate Details.
Copy the system report
Locate the Client Product Delivery Rate Details report and select the copy option against it.
Change general details
Change the name of the report so it does not conflict with the system report. All other details can remain.
Click on the Next button
Add DateOut
- Click on the Add Column button
- Change new entry to DateOut.
- Check the hide option so the field does not appear in the report (You could leave this so that data is shown in the report however column widths may need to be adjusted to fit this column)
Go to the filtering tab
DateOut filtering
Check the allow filter option
Save and View
Click on the Save and then the View button
New criteria available
The new criteria is now available for selection.
