How to add new filter column to a custom report
This article will explain how to add a column to an existing cusomt report for use as a filter. In this case a DateOut column will be added to a report.
Edit Report
Click on the edit icon next to the custom report you wish to add the column to.
Change general details
Change the name of the report so it does not conflict with the system report. All other details can remain.
Click on the Next button
Add DateOut
- Click on the Add Column button
- Change new entry to DateOut.
- Check the hide option so the field does not appear in the report (You could leave this so that data is shown in the report however column widths may need to be adjusted to fit this column)
Go to the filtering tab
DateOut filtering
Check the allow filter option
Save and View
Click on the Save and then the View button
New criteria available
The new criteria is now available for selection.
