Guide to interfacing with MYOB (most versions)
This article explains some of the processes used for managing and interface between Mandalay CS and MYOB. This has been tested with MYOB Account Right 2014 but should work for most versions.

Customer Accounts
The import process for sale items into MYOB can do account matching using 3 methods items.
- Company Name
- Card ID
- Record ID
Mandalay recommend either Company Name or Card ID.
Company Name
If the Company Name method is used then the Company Name in Mandalay CS needs to match the name in MYOB.
Card ID
If the Card ID is used then the Card ID in MYOB needs to match the Client Account # in Mandalay CS
Products
The Products in Mandalay CS need to match the list of Items in MYOB. The key item is the Product Code which must match the Item Number in MYOB. The description is not critical but should also match.
Importing Sales Into MYOB
Mandalay will deploy a Data Export tool that is used to generate a file in the correct format for importing into MYOB. To import this file into MYOB follow these steps.
Start the import assistant
Select import data
Set the file type and select the file
Set the Format
Auto Match Fields
Back Up
