How to configure payment types to work with PC-EFTPOS
The Mandalay ticketing system can integrate with PC-EFTPOS. This allows the amount of the payment to be presented to the EFTPOS terminal without manual entry. This article explains how to configure the payment types to use PC-EFTPOS when they are selected for a payment of a cash transaction.
Payment Type - Payment System
To set the integration for a payment type to PC-EFTPOS, go to the Payment Type tab of the administration program and locate the Payment System / Account field.
Account Type
PC-EFTPOS allows for a validation of the account type used to process a transaction. The drop down list for the Payment System field shows the list of available accounts. Setting a specific account type will not prevent a payment from being processed it will only prompt the operator if they wrong account was used and will require them to process any adjustments. This is a limitation of PC-EFTPOS.
Using the top option of PC-EFTPOS will not perform this validation of the account selected.
Once set for a payment type the system will integrate with PC-EFTPOS if installed on the computer.
