Image Capture in Ticketing (Automated)

Overview

Camera/s mounted on the weighbridge take photographs of the vehicle involved in the transaction (from one or many angles). These photos are attached to the transaction and can be used to verify transactional data (for example, date and time capture, vehicle registration details, truck load contents and/or vehicle configuration).  Operational benefits

* Transactions can be verified and queries resolved using the photo/s and location details attached to each account transaction.

* The system user can search and identify images based on the ticket number, site, date, time or other information.

* A PDF is available to print the transactional information containing the images using Naus (Platform).

Functionality

The image capture functionality within Ticketing is an automated process that is triggered by the selection of 'Store' and 'Print' buttons during the transaction flow. The images can be accessed and viewed in the Transaction Search module available on the Naus (Platform).

Note:

- Images are only captured where a camera has been configured to the associated Weighbridge PC.

- The "Store" and "Print" ticket functions trigger the image capture. HotKeys are not configured for image capture.

- All cameras configured to that PC will generate an image and attach it to the corresponding transaction, you can't isolate cameras.

- Images are only available in the Transaction Search module from the Naus (Platform), they are not stored or accessible in MandalayCS.

- Transaction flows are not interrupted by the image capture function.
