How to configure a Loadrite unit for use with Mandalay CS
The following are instructions on how to configure a Loadrite scale unit to work with the Mandalay system.
Hardware Required
To connect these units to a computer you will need the EDP cable. This cable will connect to the load rite unit and will have a standard DB9 serial connector on the other end. Connect the DB9 connector to either a COM port on the computer, a serial to USB converter cable or a ethernet serial device.
Access the Log Option menu on the unit
To access this menu you have to press the menu button and select the SETUP option, type the code 21312 and then press enter .
Then make sure the following Log options are set.
Log Options
- Logger= None or Wireless
- EDP Link=EDP
- EDP Port=EDP
- Baud=9600
- Storage=off
- Log Opt: turn on the info you require. (The default should be acceptable see attachment for details on what the default options are)
