Auto split weigh can now handle more than 2 split weighs. The number splits is calculated as the length of the configuration divided by the length of the bridge as configured in Mandalay CS.

Improved ATO Compliance

By default any cash sale that is over $1000 will prompt the operator to collect the payer information that can then be added to the docket. This is to comply with ATO requirements on Tax Invoices.

If you are using the Tax Invoice for account customers then the ticket templates will need to adjusted to include the client ABN to be fully compliant with the ATO requirements on large cash sales.

Improved Site Entry Auditing

Manual Boom Gate Control Reason

When a an operator pops the boom gate from the manual boom gate controls in Ticketing, they can be prompted to provide a reason. These reasons can then be reported on. This also occurs when opening and access control boom gate.

Anonymous Access Recording

If the weight on the bridge goes above minimum weight and then back below minimum weight, without a transaction being recorded, the system will record an anonymous access entry in the access log. This information can be reported on using the Access Log view in WBR.

Alerts

A new option is available for recording alerts in Administration against a license plate that is not registered as a vehicle in the vehicle list. This is helpful when tracking commercial vehicles pretending to be domestic loads.

Images Capture alerts are now also available to force the capturing of an image from a desktop camera. Possible usages of this are taking an image of a signed docket or recording an image of a required document.

Site Based Pricing

Its is now possible to set a price for a product base on a site or group of sites. This allows pricing to be set at a enterprise level, a group of sites (regional) and individually per site. Each level will inherit the price from the level above unless specifically overridden.

Customer Pricing can also be divided across sites or set at an enterprise level. For instance a client may have a default price category of Tier 1 at Site A but have Tier 2 at Site B.

This is a separately licensed module of Mandalay CS. Please contact Mandalay for more information.

Client Pricing Tab

Managing client pricing has now been made easier with the introduction of the Client Price Tab. This tab replaces the features on the Client tab that were used to set the default price category or a specific product price category. It is now possible to see a clients the price a customer will be charged when visiting a site. You can also do the following from this screen:

  • Directly set a clients favorite products.
  • Quickly locate a contract used for the client for a particular product.
  • Define the Default Price Category for a customers.
  • Set a specific product price category.
  • Change the price for the price category applicable for the client and product.

Multiple Weighed Products

It is now possible to included more than one weighed item per transactions. The weight for each item can be set based on a percentage of the total net weight or through multiple weight capture process.

This is a separately licensed module of Mandalay CS. Please contact Mandalay for more information.

More Products Button

The each items button has now been renamed to More Products and the process for adding each items to a transactions has changed. Previously if an operator at a facility without a weigh bridge needed to add multiple non weighed products to a transaction they would need to use the Each Items buttons and leave the main product button empty. This was because setting the product button to a non weighed product changed the Each Items button to a Quantity button. This will no longer occur if a non weighed product is set using the product button.

The quantity will be recorded via a message prompt.

The quantity can be adjusted by pressing the quantity button that is now located at the top of the product list.

Operators may require some minor retraining on the process for collecting each item products once the update has been deployed. The previous process of using the Each Items button to record multiple weighed products will still work except that button name has now changed to More Products.

Driver Management

The driver management has been improved inline with regulatory requirements in Western Australia that require the details of the driver.

  • Driver can now be made mandatory per site or per client.
  • Drivers can now be recorded as contacts and linked to a carrier or a vehicle as favorites.
  • New drivers can be recorded at the time of the transaction.
  • Driver contact is stored against the transction.

Some of the new driver features are part of a separately licensed module of Mandalay CS. Please contact Mandalay for more information.

Weigh Bridge Entry Light/Boom Gate

A new option is available for triggering the entry traffic light to go green or for the entry boom gate to open. Previously these events would only occur when the weigh bridge went below a minimum weight. It is now possible for these events to be triggered after the transaction is complete, with the lights and boom gate changing to red and closed after the weigh bridge goes above minimum weight.

This option is not compatible with the exit boom and light setting that maintains the weigh bridge exit as clear while the bridge is above minimum. This is because a vehicle entering the bridge while the gates or lights are active will cause them to remain active. Please contact Mandalay support for further information.

General Ticketing Enhancements

  • The print price on ticket setting for a client can now also affect if the operator can see the price in the Load Summary
  • There is an option for the ticketing screen to stay on the first page (client, product page) if all mandatory data has been provided. This is helpful for generic vehicles where the operator needs to add more products to the load other than the default.
  • Overloaded events will now be added to a replacement ticket when a ticket is replaced. Previously the overloaded event was only related to the original transaction.
  • Ticket weights displayed in Ticket Details.  Shows split weights and multiple weighed product weight collections.
