  • Chain of Responsibility Ready
  • naus integration to new applications.
  • Site access transactions
  • Payment Type ordering
  • Major hardware Layer upgrade

Fast User/Site Switching

Users and sites can be changed in Ticketing without exiting the application.  This can also be used to lock the ticketing application and will then require a valid user account to be entered before accessing ticketing. Failure to present a valid account will result in the application closing.

If the operator has access to multiple sites or is access Ticketing through naus then the site selection option will be presented.

NHVR Chain of Responsibility (CoR) Ready

Based on recent changes from the NHVR on the overloaded vehicle legislation a number of changes have been introduced to support the requirement for multiple mass breach categories. A new application is also available through naus that will provide configuration and reporting options for these changes.

The changes are:

  • 3 levels of mass breach categorisation can be configured to track severity levels. This is set using the new Facility Management application located in the naus platform.
  • New messaging to the operator about the mass breach.
  • Separate overloaded vehicle docket produced when mass breach occurs.
  • Reporting on overloaded events is available in the Facility Management application(available 7th of March 2019)

Integration with new Facility Management application

As part of the 3.6 release of CS a new application called Facility Management will be made available to naus platform users. This represents the start of the transition from the current Mandalay CS product to new naus services and will initially support management of overloaded vehicles but will expand to new areas in the future.

Site Access Transactions

It is now possible to identify transactions that are only intended to track visitors or contractors accessing a site. This defined by setting an option against a product category which can then be applied to your existing site visitor or contractor products. Transactions recorded against these products that are weighed will appear in blue in the Out list and can be excluded from Ticket Detail reports by excluding the Ticket Type called "Site Access".

Payment Type Ordering

A common request over the years has been to allow payment types to be ordered on the cash tendering screen. With this release we have added a sort order option for each payment type that will allow you to defined a custom sort order. You will no longer need to add numbers to the beginning to get the order you which to be presented to the operator.

We have also includes an option to change the display name which allows you to separate a reporting name from the name a operator will see.

Hardware Layer 5.0

We have been working on some updates to the hardware layer to help address some of the issues that required restarting of the hardware service. This version of CS will be deployed with version 5.0 of our hardware layer. You will not see any changes from the update other than some improved stability during network related outages.
