Once the new date and time has been entered the operator will be presented with a list of reasons for the re booking of the transaction. This list has been preloaded with the following reasons:

  • Client Amended Booking
  • Customer Request
  • Facility Requested Change
  • Load Did Not Arrive
  • Other - Please add details

Other than the Customer Request reason all other reasons will require a note to be entered.

Reports in WBR based on the Ticket Event Detailed view can be used to report on these events by filtering on the Rebook Ticket Reason event type.

PC-EFTPOS Partial Refunds

Prior to this release it was not possible to perform a partial EFTPOS refund against a payment recorded in Ticketing. The operator was required to refund the total amount and then reprocess with the new payment.

A partial refund is required in 2 situations:

  1. Replacing a ticket and the price reduces.
  2. Taking a deposit on the first weight and then the resulting total price being less than the deposit taken.

In these cases the operator will be presented with the cash tendering screen and for any payment method recorded using PC-EFTPOS the refund will just be for the difference between original payment taken and the new charge.

Configuration Options

  • Client Category, Product Category, Product Group and Vehicle Category can now be made mandatory in Administration.
  • Vehicle configuration will now be Mandatory in Administration when configuration mandatory is activated.

SQL Server 2017

SQL Server 2017 has now been confirmed as compatible with Mandalay CS and will soon become the default version used for new installations.

Note: SQL Server 2017 is not supported on Windows 7 this means we will no longer support Windows 7 for new installations of Mandalay CS following this change to Microsoft SQL 2017 as the standard database deployment.

Hardware Layer

A new version of the Hardware Layer is being deployed with this version of Mandalay CS. This includes addressing issues with the image capture feature.
