Managing Events in MandalayCS

Events are set for the reasoning behind certain ticketing actions. For example, why has a manual weight has been entered, or a ticket has been cancelled. The rules around setting up events depends on your internal business rules and can also be controlled using the functionality setting in the user permissions.

For example: • Cancelling tickets: you may not wish to allow an operator to cancel a ticket from a previous day, this is controlled from the user permissions defined against the operator group. And, then for tickets which are cancelled that day, you may wish to support your internal controls and audit process by capturing a reason.
