How to deactivate a record
If a record is no longer needed in Mandalay CS, then it can be made inactive This article explains how to manage inactive items.
Deactivate Record
- Locate the record that needs to be deactivated and display it on screen.
- Check the Inactive flag located at the top right of all the administration data forms.
- Apply the changes
Note: Once applied the record will still appear in the item list as it requires refreshing before the item is removed.
View Inactive records
To view the list of inactive record check the List Inactive option. This is located at the bottom of the list.
Reactivate
To reactive a record you just need locate the record in the inactive list and remove the inactive flag before applying the changes.
Reporting
Any reports that report on ticket data will still continue to show an active records. Administrative reports may not show inactive records by default and may require filter changes to allow inactive records to be seen.
