How to search for a record (Advanced Search)
This article explains the search options available for each of the data forms that have the advanced search feature.
Note: Some forms have the advanced search option as a button at the top of the list while others may just have a section below the list for setting the criteria.
General Features
The figure above shows the general features available to most of the advanced search options.
Some of the drop downs in the advanced search allow for multiple selections. E.G you could select both green waste and mulch product categories. To do a multiple selection hold the CTRL key down while making you selections.
Note: All the search screens will have site and list inactive options included.
Clearing the search
When an advanced search is active the Advanced search button will be highlighted in orange. To clear the active search click on the Clear button and the list will refresh with no filtering and the Advanced button will return to the normal color.
The clear button is also available when the Advanced search screen is active.
Users
Searching is available against any of the following data items:
- Group - Identifies any users linked to the group(s) selected.
- Permission - Shows any user or group that has the permission(s) selected (note: it will not check the permission of a group that the user is a member of only the directly selected permissions.
- Site
Cartage
Searching is available against any of the following data items:
- Site
- Rate Types
Categories
Searching is available against any of the following data items:
- Category Type
Clients
Searching is available against any of the following data items:
- Client Category
- Price Category (Default only)
- Site
- Credit Stop
Carriers
Searching is available against any of the following data items:
