How to use an existing pay later/ prepay account (different vehicle)
Once a temporary account (prepay or pay later) has been established against a vehicle and the allow other vehicles option has been selected the payment reference can then be used to add transactions for other vehicles to the account for pay later and use the prepaid credit on prepay account. The follow are the steps to do this.
Select vehicle with no existing pay later account
Select the vehicle with no existing temporary account.
Cash Tendering Screen
Once a cash transaction has been completed the cash tendering screen will appear.
There should be no Account Outstanding value if the vehicle has not used the temporary account before.
Continue Pay Later
To add this transaction to and existing pay later account created for another vehicle then click on the Continue (Pay-Later) button
Enter Payment Reference
To use another pay later account the payment reference for the account must be known.
Account balance or credit added to transaction
The outstanding balance for the account is now added to the transaction
Any credit amount for a prepaid account will be displayed and the total for this transaction deducted from the credit.
Add To Pay Later/Prepay
To add this transaction to the pay later account then click on the Add To (Pay-Later) button
Confirm the Driver and Payer Details
Verify that the account details are still the same and update where necessary.
Complete Transaction
Click on the Ok button to complete the process
