How create a transaction with non weighed products
This article explains how to create a transaction for a non weighed products.
Select Vehicle
To start a transaction select the vehicle to be used or create a new vehicle.
Product Selection
There are 2 methods for selecting a non weighed product. One is from the primary product button and the other is with the each items button. If the each items button is not available then you will need to contact Mandalay to ask how to enable this button.
From Primary Product Button
- Select a product from the list of products that does not require a weight. E.G Batteries
- Enter the quantity of the item selected.
The quantity can be adjusted at any time by selecting the Product Qty button.
Note: With this method it is only possible to add one non weighed product to the transaction. If more than one item is needed or you need to use a weighed item with a non weighed item then look at the next step.
From Each Items Button
Click on the each Items button to start the process of adding 1 or more non weighed products to a transaction
Select the first non weighed product
TIP: You can use the search box in the bottom left to locate a product.
Add the quantity
Enter the quantity for the product selected. It is possible to use fractions also so 0.5 will be half an item.
Add more products
You can add additional products to the transaction by using the Add Product button.
Editing an item
It is possible to adjust the values associated to an item added to the transaction by selecting the product in question then selecting the item that needs to be changed i.e Quantity.
Returning to the main capture screen
Click here to return back to the data capture screen.
Complete the ticket
Click on the printer button to complete the transaction and produce a ticket.
