How to force the selection of a vehicle configuration
By default when a vehicle only has one vehicle configuration for a stored tare vehicle, it will not prompt the operator letting them know what the expected configuration is. This can mean that an incorrect stored tare is selected. E.G .the default is truck only but they arrive with truck and dog which should have a heavier tare value.
It is possible to force the selection of a vehicle configuration even if only one exists. This will then allow the operator to be aware of what the expected configuration is. If the vehicle is not configured as expected then a new configuration can be added or a dual weight transaction can be forced.
The following shows how to configure Mandalay CS to force vehicle configuration selection when it exists.
Configuration Manager
This is a computer specific setting so start configuration manager on the computer where this settings needs to be configured.

- Click on ok or apply to save the changes
- Restart ticketing if necessary.
