How to setup Octopus Tentacle on Machines
1. Installer will be provided by Mandalay Support (32 or 64bit)
2. Run installer and follow the steps accepting all defaults.

3. Once the installer is done, it should bring this screen up. Click on Get Started, follow the prompts until you get to the screen on the image on step 4.
4. On the “Communication” page, select “Polling Tentacle”.
5. Choose the proxy settings depending on what you currently have on your environment. If there is no proxy set, choose no proxy
6. On the “Octopus Server” follow the following steps:
- Enter https://octopus.naus.com as the Octopus Server URL.
- Select “API key” as the authentication mode.
- Enter the generated API key into the box provided. (API Key will be provided by Mandalay Support)
- Click on verify credentials - it will go thru the verification and should enable the Next button once done.
7. On the “Registration” follow these steps
- Select “Production” as the “Environment”.
- Enter “data-sync” in the “Roles” box.
- The Tenants field would be the your organisation or Council
- Tenant tags can be left blank
8. Once the registration has been updated you will be brought to the page below: click on install.
9. Once done Click on finish.
10. Once installed, this screen will come up to confirm that it is successful.
