Facility Management - Transaction Search

1. Overview

Transaction Search functionality is now available as part of the Standard reporting suite within Facility Analytics & Reporting.

Transaction Search can be accessed from the left-hand menu once you have logged into Facility Management from the naus Platform. It will eventually replace the existing Transaction Search tile, but both will remain available for a period of time.

Transaction Search within Facility Management offers several new features that are not available within the existing tool.

1/- The new Transaction Search tool can be found within Facility Management.

2/- The existing Transaction Search tile will eventually be removed.

2. Access and Permissions

Access to Transaction Search within Facility Management is managed via group permissions. FM Product Admin users may assign the permissions to relevant groups.

3. Basic and Advanced Search Options

Multi-Site Selection:Transaction Search now offers a Multi-Site Selector that will allow you to select one, several, or all sites, giving you the ability to search for transactions from one or more of your facilities within the same search.

Standard Search Fields:In addition to the Multi-Site Selector, standard search fields include Date Range, Ticket Number, and License Plate.

Default Date Range:The default date range for all searches is set to the previous 3 months. Update the date range to suit your search requirements. A maximum 3 month period can be searched at a time.

Clear All Button:The Clear button will clear all search fields and search results.

Additional Search Fields: Advanced Search offers several additional search fields that will allow you to search for different types of information in addition to the standard fields.  Advanced fields include Customer, Carrier, EPA/TCN and Other.

Cancelled Tickets: Advanced Search offers the ability to include cancelled tickets within your search results.

4. Search Results

Transactions that meet the entered search criteria will be displayed as a list below the search fields.

A summary of information per transaction will be displayed including the Total Price of the transaction.

More detailed ticket information can be accessed by clicking View in the Actions menu at the end of a transaction.

The Actions menu can be accessed by clicking on the ellipsis (three dots) at the end of a transaction. There are three actions available: View, Print Docket and Print Report.

View: Will open the Transaction Details Page. Here you will find more detailed information related to a transaction.

Print Docket: Print a copy of the transaction docket directly from Transaction Search, without having to log into Ticketing.

Note: Only customers who have upgraded to version 3.7 of Mandalay’s Facility Core Product (Mandalay CS) will have access to the Print Docket functionality. Read this article to find out more about the new features available within version 3.7.

Here is an example of what a printed docket will look like.

Print Report: Print transaction details in a report format. This report will include images if image capture is being used.

5. Transaction Details Page

5.1. Transaction Details Page Layout

Several pieces of information are provided within the transaction details page, with a summary of all information appearing at the top of the screen. Any critical events, for example, overloaded vehicles, will be displayed above the summary section and will be highlighted in red.

More detailed information appears below the summary and includes:

1/- Images: If images were captured via the Image Capture extension product during the transaction, the images will appear as thumbnails.

2/- Product Information: A detailed list of all products recorded against the transaction are listed.

3/- Payment Information: Payment Times, dates and amounts.

4/- Product Weighs: The Gross, Tare, and Net weight is displayed in the summary section and the detailed weights are in the Weighs section which displays the operator and device that was used during the transaction.

5/- Ticket Events: Ticket events such as manual tickets will be displayed along with any critical events like overloaded vehicles.

6/- Product Events:Product events applied to the transaction will be displayed in this area for example exemptions applied to certain products.

7/- Within each section, items can be expanded to display more detailed information by clicking on the arrow at the beginning of the row.

 

8/- If the Rate/Unit has more than 2 decimals, the full amount (including all decimal places) is displayed by hovering over the amount in the Rate/Unity column.

9/- Print Docket: Print a copy of the transaction docket.

Note: Only customers who have upgraded to version 3.7 of Mandalay’s Facility Product Suite will have access to the Print Docket functionality.

10/- Print Report: Print the transaction in a report format.

5.3. Selecting Ticket Versions

Transaction Search within Facility Management will allow you to select previous versions of a ticket, if they exist, by clicking on the drop down on the Transaction Details page.

The most recent version of the ticket will always display first.

Dockets can only be printed for the most recent ticket version.

If only one version of a ticket exists, the dropdown list will not be available.
