26.05.2023 - Temporary Accounts Report - Release 2.1

Overview

Version 2.1 of the Temporary Accounts report contains an updated report in our Standard Reporting suite located within Facility Management. You can locate this report by clicking on the ‘Operational’ tab within Facility Management. This report will be identifiable by the version number in the report header, being v2.1.0 in this instance.

Several improvements have been made to the Temporary Accounts Report within v2.1.0, including a large visual overhaul of the report. Including:

  • An updated design to the overall layout as well as the individual visuals.
  • Changes to slicers.
  • Functional updates.
  • Main table data fields reordered and reduced.

Updated Design

This is what the new report will look like with condensed slicers, resulting in more space for the main visual elements (the data table).

Slicer Changes

The new version will display the date range that the transaction was opened, with the purpose of showing all temporary accounts, whether they have been paid or not.

We have made some changes to the slicer headings to bring them in line with our data field standard naming conventions. ‘Facility’ has changed to ‘Site’ and ‘Client’ has changed to ‘Client Name’.

Payer and License Plate slicers have been moved to allow for the Client and Payer Name slicers to be displayed next to each other.

The Payment Status slicer has been removed as the purpose of the Temporary Accounts report is to identify all temporary accounts whether open or closed, and some of those transactions will not have a payment record on them.

Functional Changes

‘Group by’ buttons have been added to the report to give a quick context switch between Open Accounts based on either the Client Name or the Payer Name.

Choosing ‘Client Name’ will order all Open temporary accounts by the Client Name saved on the transaction.  Choosing ‘Payer Name’ will order all Open temporary accounts by the Payer Name saved on the transaction.

Slicers have been reduced to take up less room and use a drop-down menu format.

Data Fields Reordered and Reduced

Column fields in the existing report have been reordered to display the important information first. Field Titles with an [*] have been removed and the Field Title with an [#] has been added.
